Need Official Warrant Information?
Call the office that matches the case. County Court handles traffic, city and village ordinance, infraction, misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony preliminary-hearing matters. The District Court clerk handles felony trial, domestic-relations, civil-contempt, and related records. The Sheriff handles legal-process service, custody, and holding questions.

What to Have Ready Before You Call
Keep the full legal name, date of birth, citation or case number, court named on the paperwork, and any payment or hearing notice nearby. Ask for the current status, issuing judge or clerk magistrate, warrant type, issue date, bond or appearance path, next date, and how compliance will be recorded. A common-name search is not confirmation.
If a phone answer is not enough, ask which custodian should receive a written request. CC 3:29 is the Nebraska court form for specified file or certified-copy requests.
Contact Limits
This private website has no access to official case systems. It cannot confirm a warrant, set a hearing, accept payment, arrange a surrender, post bond, or give legal advice. No local Colfax online warrant list, separate warrant phone line, public surrender window, or warrant-specific email was located in the official research.
Use the originating court for status and resolution instructions. Use the Sheriff for service or holding questions. Verify hours before visiting.
Written Records Requests
Nebraska Public Records Statutes generally provide inspection and copies unless an exception applies. A written request should identify the custodian and a narrow record. Under the state framework, the custodian generally responds with access, a written denial, or a delay and cost explanation within four business days. Sealed, juvenile, investigative, and protected records may not be released.
For help finding the right public office, use the Colfax County warrant search guide. For official legal information, use the linked county, court, and state sources rather than this site as the final authority.
